Heart rate too high when swimming

After swimming with fit bit on my heart rate reading is way high. Not correct and can’t reset it?

Hi @33bobcat. Welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

 

Thanks for letting me know that your heart rate data wasn't recorded correctly, and for your efforts while working on this matter on your own. Currently there isn't an option to correct the heart rate data recorded by your Fitbit, however, I'd recommend to try the following steps to ensure you'll receive accurate details from now on:

 

  1. Turn off the heart rate function within your watch's settings.
  2. Restart your Fitbit as described here.
  3. Turn back on the heart rate function.
  4. Use your Fitbit was you normally do and make sure it's snug on your wrist. For more details, check this help article.
