How did Fitbit determine how many calories I should burn in a day and how many kilometres I should walk? I haven't sent any goals.

It uses default goals until you set your own based on your profile settings. They don't tell us exactly how they are calculated but they say they are based on industry recommendations, such as 10,000 steps per day.

Okay, thanks. It set 10k steps which is the norm, just over 8kms and around 1930 Cals which is a couple hundred more than I generally burn. If I burnt that much I would be losing a fair bit of weight. Since I weigh in at 55kg I don't really need to do that. Interesting. I haven't entered my food intake and set no goals myself. I'm just monitoring and tracking my steps, sleep and water.
