how do i change my daily steps? i want to aim higher

Use the app in your phone and click on your profile picture. Then, tap "activity and wellness". Then, "daily activity". There you'll be able to set your personal goals.

This is not what is being asked. 

 

Wanting to know how to change steps goal number. For example say you are currently aiming for 5000 steps and you wish to increase your goal amount to 7000 steps. If I go into the activity screen and put it in it changes it but then reverts back to former goal.

please help (I have a Sense and iPhone)

Hello @LovesChild and welcome to the Community.  You're right about that Best Answer selection.  I unmarked it as the BA.  I'm an iPhone user. too.  The path listed by @CinKnick works for me.  Again, that is tap on profile picture > Activity & Wellness > Daily Activity.  There is an alternate path.  Tap on your Steps icon > the gear icon in the upper right > enter your new step goal > tap on Done.

 

Both paths work for me.  If you still have trouble, please try the general troubleshooting like logging out of your app, then log back in.  If you still have trouble what iOS and Fitbit app versions do you have?  I have iOS 16.1.1 and Fitbit 3.70.1.
