How do I connect Charge 2 to My Fitness Pal? No help thread has provided an answer that works

No instructions I've found make any sense with what I am seeing. There is no "Devices and Apps" drop down menu for me to choose from.  The only place I find any mention of My Fitness Pal, is in the Discover menu -> Compatible Apps. When I click on My Fitness Pal, there is no "Link" or "Connect" button to choose. Just "Learn More," which does nothing when I click, and "Download", which I already have and when I click it, it takes me to the apps store, where I can open My Fitness Pal. But they don't link

I'm super frustrated, so if someone could help, I'd really appreciate it

I think you need to make the connection from the myfitnesspal site. See https://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps/show/30

@SteveH is correct.  On your iPhone open up MyFitnessPal, go to "more" (bottom right of screen), scroll down to "Apps & Devices" look for the fitbit app and hit the connect button.  At that point you will probably get a screen that asks you for your fitbit sign-on email/password so the two accounts can link.
