I’m having the same exact issue. My app is up to date. I have an iPhone XR. And a new Charge 3 as of last month. Yet my app did not update to the new layout.

I’ve been reading that this new Fitbit look from Update 3.0 is only compatible with iOS 11 devices. Having a XR, I’m currently on update 12.4. Yet on a Apple’s website, it is indicated that iOS 11 is only compatible with the X. It doesn’t mention XR or even XS. So I’m very perplexed.

Read under “Version 3”:

https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2025

Brings you to this Apple link listing iOS 11 capable phones:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209574

Now I can decide if it’s an Apple issue or Fitbit issue...

@SunsetRunner  I don't have the new look either, but that was by choice.  I declined the pop up to have the new lay-out design several weeks ago.  I've the Fitbit App update at 3.0, iPhone XS Max.

My guess about why Apple's does not list anything other than the X for iOS 11 is because everyone should be up to at least the iOS 12 (there's now an iOS 12.4 available for download; I haven't done it yet).  The XR came out after the iOS 12 release, so there would be no reason to list it compatible for the iOS 11 download.  I don't think it's an Apple issue.

I would also assume Fitbit may be holding off on pushing the new layout to more people given the negative feed back that has been coming from it.  I know I saw a lot of complaints from those who did the conversion to the new layout; not just about the design, but a lot of errors with syncing to devices, malfunctioning of tiles, etc.

Still unsolved!! How do I escalate this to Fitbit?

You don’t want the new dashboard! It is so hard to read and navigate, so ridiculously buggy (I’ve had heart rate, sleep, exercise tracking and challenges all be messed up) and personally I’d go back in a heartbeat (along with about 27 pages of people under the new dashboard forum!)
