How do I update my main goal on the new Fitbit app?

With the new updated app, I can no longer set my primary goal. I can only shift around collections of goals/data capture. I want the main goal to calories burned, not steps taken.

@kvog983  Hi. It can be done. Click the pen on the top right of today. Click the pen again for Custom preset. You can click each metric and change them to what you want. I made calories (energy burned) top center on mine.

@kvog983 — Tap the pencil, as @MarkMM suggested, but then under “Choose Focus” swipe right/left until you find “Set your Focus”, click that pencil, and go from there. 😊

That does not work. That changes the focus to a set of 4 items the step count always as the main one. I do not want the steps there, I want the calories, and I am unable to change that.

@kvog983 Are you on IOS? I changed my top center display to calories this way on Android yesterday. It was steps by default. Is this what you mean?

I'm happy where it is right now, but there looks to be a lot of options to set the metrics at. I could remove steps completely if I wanted.

@kvog983 This thread must have been moved. I never look at the IOS section. Sorry, might be different for IOS. Also on mine, I set the main goal in the actual watch settings, but the new app showed steps top center. So my main goal was still right. Just the new display was off.

@MarkStone Thanks. Brain fart I guess. Don't know how I ended up in the IOS APP section. Your advice is probably more correct.

This worked. Once I opened "Custom Preset," I could choose: Metric1=energy burned. Metric 2=Steps, etc. THANK YOU!
