How do Notifications work on Versa/Ionic?

Hello,

  I am wanting to get either a Fitbit Versa or Ionic, I have an iPhone 7 plus.  

Will I be able to get iPhone messages and call notifications from my iphone on these fitbits?  

if so, can you respond back on the fitbit to them?

Hello @xraymom3 thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. 

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for posting your question. Please note that with a Fitbit Versa or Ionic, you will be able to receive notifications from calls and text messages (default Messages app in your iPhone). You will also be able to receive app Notifications (Facebook, Messenger, Whatsapp, etc.). However, you won't be able to reply to them, the Quick Replies feature only works for messages coming through the Fitbit app.
