How to being prompted to update the Fitbit app?

I receive notification that software update was available.  I tried downloading it, but it was unsuccessful.  Now I know longer have the notification that software update is available.

Hello and welcome @SunsetRunner 

I’m assuming that you’re speaking about the Fitbit App update that you attempted to download but the download was unsuccessful. If that is the case I would log out of your Fitbit App, turn your iOS device off completely, wait 1-2 mins then restart your iOS device again. Head back to the App Store and look to see if the Fitbit App update is available again. Download the issue the log back into your Fitbit Account as you normally would with your email address and password.

Thanks for your help. It did not work, but I did get the update again. Unfortunately, the update still will not load. It quits before it is finished

I’m happy that the update at least came back. This may sound crazy but I’ve seen this tip before where you turn Airplane Mode on, wait about 15 seconds then turn Airplane Mode off then try downloading the update again. Hopefully that works. 😃 Please let me know

I did get the update to load.  Thank you for all your assistance.

Persistance.  I kept turning off the device and finally the update appeared and I was able to upload it.
