Hi, @DT2019 , on your app choose account.  Thats the top right icon that is meant to look like an id card.

On the account screen scroll down to goals and choose "nutrition and body".  There you can find how to set a weight loss target.

I hope this helps.  Please post again if you need more information.  There is always someone here to help.

Hi thanks but when I first got my very first Fitbit I was able to put a date by which I wanted to hit the target weight - then the app would calculate the daily deficit in calories I would need to meet to hit the target weight by the target date - I have been able to set a target weight thanks Dean

H, @DT2019 , once you have set your goal weight you can choose how fast you achieve it.

Go to account (as before) and choose nutrition and body (as before).  There you will see "Food". Under food you can choose to crate a Food Plan which will allow you to set a calorie deficit, which will then determine how fast you loose weight and when you might meet your goal.

Hi

No I didn't get a solution

Has the app settings changed since inception ?

When I first had the Fitbit Charge I was able to state :

I want to lose X lbs weight ...but by a certain future date

Then the app would calculate the net deficit between my calories in v calories burnt each day to hit that goal

So I am able to put in a future weight goal but I am not able to find where I can put the future date ?

Dean

I see it’s been a year since anyone posted on this question, but in case anyone else is looking for this answer, here’s how it works now on the App. Instead of entering a specific goal date, you choose an intensity level that will determine how quickly you lose. Here’s how to do it: From Today, tap your photo, then Nutrition & Body. In the NUTRITION section, tap FOOD. From there you’ll go through screens for your Daily Calorie Goal Setup. One of these screens gives you choices from Easier to Harder and for each level, it shows the estimated date you’ll reach your goal. Not quite as specific as entering your exact goal date, but close enough for me. Hope this helps someone!

Thank you for the helpful information.

My sister uses an app that gives her a specific date that she'll hit her goal if she stays on track, and it adjusts the date according to her daily caloric intake.  That's what I was hoping for.

@Virginia_Lynn now the menu is changed maybe.

Click on your profile picture and 1st click on Activity & Wellness and 2nd choose Nutrition & Weight.

Then you can select Food and set a goal 🙂

I have a Versa 3. I have figured out how to enter what I eat but I don't see how to set up a food plan, like a calorie target with percentages of carbs, protein and fat. Is this even doable?
