Every time I open the app instead of seeing content I see news. This interferes with the workflow of using the app. Today I see 4 notifications of news like
“Get your game face on!”
“Welcome to today”
“Personalized insights”
“Nutrition”
How can I turn these off? Or is the only option to use a different app for tracking?

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @DanG8
Occasionally, you’ll receive messages based on your Fitbit data giving you insight into different aspects of your health and wellness. These messages may be about general wellness, activity, nutrition, mindfulness, sleep patterns, and more.
Unfortunately there is no way to disable this function at the moment.
😃 I hope I was able to give you an answer to your question

@DanG8 While it's true that you can't turn them off, supposedly if you down vote them the app will stop showing them!
I provided a link with some additional info.

Please let me know if you have any luck in stopping them. I've been trying and i'm still getting them.

I downvote every one I see, they still appear.
This is extreme anti-user design – some of the messages, especially about diet, are hostile to my fitness goals and (in my researched opinion) unhealthy for other users, as well.
