I cannot seem to connect my Fitbit with my iPhone 6+

Hi guys. I've recently bought a Fitbit charge off a friend that didn't use it but he has lost the dongle. I have ordered one but in the mean time is there a way I can sync it to my phone so that I can use it? I have tried setting it up on the app but just says loading... Doesn't actually say it's been found etc also I have held the button in and erased previous data. I think. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

@JerseyBoyMusic  Are you trying to set it up via Wifi?  I know some users have stated they have had issues using wifi, and once they used cellular, they were able to complete the set up.

It's all sorted now mate thanks. I just deleted the app and re installed.
