Is there anyone I can go to and just have them set this ionic up for me? Whatever happened to plug and play? I want someone to do this for me, period.

You can always call Fitbit customer support directly and they will walk you through the steps to set up your new Ionic. Give a call to customer support's phone (877)623-4997 between the hours of 4am-8pm PST Mon-Fri, and 6am-5pm PST on weekends, if you're in the USA.
