Since the most recent app update, it is showing active minutes in excess of 140 each morning when I wake up. My sleep tracking shows normal sleep without too many restless/awake minutes, but it is showing this same time as "active" minutes and really high calories burned. Has anyone else seen this happen? I have a Blaze, but I'm posting this here as my Blaze shows normal calories burned UNTIL it syncs with the app. Any help is appreciated!!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @SunsetRunner. It's great to have you here. This is definitely not an expected behavior. I would recommend downloading the most recent app version for your iOS device. Please give it another try and let me know how it goes.
Catch you later.

@cookienadal It's great to see you in the Community! As my friend @EdsonFitbit mentioned, this seems a weird behavior of the app. Since your phone has the most recent version, try logging out of the app, turn off your phone and turn it back on. Finally, open the app, log in and check out if the issue persists after a 24 hours test on the app.
Keep me posted on the outcome my friend and I'll be around!
