IOS 11.0.3 won’t allow my iPhone 7Plus pair with Fitbit HR. Finds the Fitbit but when enter pairing code it seems to spend forever trying to pair - eventually giving up

I have iPhone 7 and since I’ve updated to IOS 11.0.3 my Charge 2 watch has stopped recognizing when I receive texts and calls despite notifications being turned on in both the app and the watch. It says it’s connected to my Bluetooth.
