Sleep time goal settings.
I can’t get my sleep and wake times to set at the time I choose. It either doesn’t reset at all or resets to a random time I didn’t choose.  Any tips

Can’t change the sleep sert to actual schedule.

So today when i went to change my target sleep schedule every time I put it to the time i would like the time i set would jump back 2-3 hours and sometimes change between am and pm. And when i change one time it changes the other.

Just today was the time change when the time jumped back a hour. Maybe this is causing issues.

  • And yes i have already tried force quitting the app, restarting my phone, and my watch.
  • I am on a iPhone 15 pro if this is some iOS issue.

This is what it looks like when i try to set 9:50pm-6:50am

Is this an app issue on ios? It seems like the time change from DST to Standard time changed my sleep settings. I was on East Coast US time. I may now be in mountain time, When I try to change the times to EST Bed Time of 11PM, my goal shows 8PM and I am scheduled now to wake up at 3:30 AM. I change my wake time to 7:30 and the bedtime changes to 7PM with a 4:30 wakeup.

Do I need to delete my profile, my app or both that were setup in 2015 and start from scratch?

The time change happens twice a year. Is this something Google will be able to fix?

Hello @GraysonN0s and welcome to the Community.  If you just switched back to standard time, please don't try to make any changes today.  This is a very longstanding issue with Fitbit.  Wait until tomorrow.

Hi... I can't change the Bedtime and Wake up time on sleep schedule on the app (Versa 2).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am having the exact issue so it must be an app problem. No matter what PM sleep time I set, the app subtracts 3 hours from both sleep and wake. I am using Apple iOS v 17.6.1

Same here, but it also deleted my sleep details! It was there when I opened the app, but when I tried to change the incorrect time (duration of sleep was short), everything got messed up, and it won’t change back!

Exact same issue here.  I have tried deleting data, deleting and reinstalling the app, re synching everything, and nothing works

Hello @Maxnlaw and others.  If you just made the switch back to standard time, please don't try to make any changes today.  Fitbit doesn't handle the time change well.  It should sort itself out tomorrow.

Hi, @Rhymn welcome to the community, may I draw your attention to this article How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? - Fitbit Help Center . I apologise if you have already seen it.

I hope this helps.

Someone in another post suggests that it is an app problem related to the time change over night, and should “sort itself out” by tomorrow. I hope they are right. 🤞🏻

Hello @Rhymn

Sorry to see that you've been having issues with setting/editing your sleep goals.

Sadly, this is something that typically happens due to the biannual time change and usually fixes itself in a day.

Let us know if you're still having problems editing your sleep goals & schedule.

Hi everybody! Thank you for your reports.

As the issues reported seem very similar, I've merged all the posts here, so that you all get the information at the same time.

Some of you  mentioned that this was due to the change to winter time. We haven't seen that the change might be affecting this.

I've informed our team to get a closer look at this.

In the meantime:
If you haven't done so yet, make sure that you have the latest Fitbit App installed.
Try turning your phone off and on again after the app update

Hi everybody! Thank you for your patience.

Our Team informed me that this should be solved by now.

Please make sure that you have the latest Fitbit App installed.
Restart then your phone (off/on)
Try to change the settings.

I would appreciate if you would confirm this over here.
