Starting today (6/26/2025), when I try to open the Fitbit app on my iPhone, it appears briefly then closes. I checked the app store and there was an update available (4.46) and I updated. Same issue. (iPhone is up to date - ios 18.5)
I've tried all the possible solutions I've been able to find online - shutting off/restarting my phone, deleting/reinstalling the app, opening the app with wifi & bluetooth disabled. Nothing helps.
I also have the Windows 11 app, which I don't normally use, but when I tried it just now I get an error logging on. Not sure if that's related. I let it generate logs which I can send if you think that will help.
One additional data point - my husband has the same model phone & fitbit, and he is able to open the app with no problems.
Can you please help?
Editing to add: after I posted this, I realized this didn't go directly to Fitbit Support, so I contacted them directly and I have a case open. I'll come back and update if I get a solution.

I opened a case for this. As time went on, it became clear that the app was crashing only when I tried to access my data (dashboard or sleep details) for Thursday 6/26/2025. I kept them updated via email as instructed but never got any feedback and apparently the case was closed with no further response to me from Fitbit. When I followed up today, I was told that this is a wider issue and their team is aware of it. Hope this will help someone.
