Inconsistent calorie counts

When I log food or burn calories, the in/out calorie counts on the Food screen with the bar graph are often different from the 'calories in and over/remaining' tile on the main screen.  It's as if they are pulling from two different data sources that take a while to sync up.  Same if I log something using the web-based interface.

I can no longer just trust the numbers at a glance.  I have to check both places, check that the list of foods is correct (it sometimes duplicates or loses an entry) and close the app and re-open it to try to get it to sync.

iPhone 8 and iOS 14.6

Anyone else?

  3. Clear your iPhone cache: How to Clear Your Browser's Cache on an iPhone.
  4. Reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
