Inputting water intake calculations are incorrect

Hi, I am new to the Fitbit world and so far I'm liking it. I'm learning how to make it work for me and decided to try logging my water intake. Yesterday it calculated fine. Today, I had A LOT of water (4 x 700ml=2800 ml) When I input the info it tells my I've only had 2250ml. Is there a limit that it will let me input?

Nevermind. I guess I just need to give it time to update/change.

Water intske calculation is incorrect today. Instead of recording the accumulated water intake I enter against my goal, it Records s completely different number. Eg. Intake is 1350ml to goal of 2300ml. My daily dashbard says i have drunken 450ml today. Bizarre. Please advise fix.

I am also having trouble with the app calculating water consumption.  I put in the amount but it doesn't update, even if I close the app out and restart.  I am on an iphone 6s.  Any comments FITBIT??  This is not a recent occurence.

@suki Does restarting your iOS device help? Also, are you able to see your logged water on your Fitbit.com dashboard? Keep me posted!

@SunsetRunner You can input the amount of water you drink. This can be don by: clicking the water tile on your dashboard > click the + icon in the top right-hand corner > plugging in the amount of water you drank at the top and then click save in the top right-hand corner.

Hi.  I have not tried restarting the device.  It's a minor annoyance since I can figure out how much water I've had in my head, but the water calculation has worked correctly in the past.  I can see the water logged in, on the dashboard, every time I input, it just doesn't add the water up.  So for instance I have had 24 oz. then log in 12 oz. it will stay at 24.

I'm having same problem for last 3 days.  Put in water 1000ml and all is fine.  When I put in next 500ml, it doesn't show and then it gives me -500ml.  Mostly it's just annoying.

It has been acting worse in the past few days, for me.  I'm glad I'm not alone.  Fitbit probably needs to address this.  Restartiing the device every time you add water is not a solution!

Having issues as well.  The water history in the app is correct, but the total is incorrect.  Happens intermitently, about every couple of days.  When I look at the dashboard on this website it shows the correct total.  Interesting thing is you can actually see it happen.  Hit the quick add, the total increases, bar on graph increases, then like a second or 2 later you can see the bar drop back down and the total is back to the previous one.
