Inspire 3 giving extra calories burned

I don’t wear my fitbit to bed. It is showing calories burned from midnight to when I get up at 5am.

No, not extra calories.  BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories that you are always burning just to stay alive are always credited even when not wearing watch.
