Ionic not syncing with iPhone.

For the past 2 days, my Fitbit refuses to sync completely. My steps will sync, but it will only sync about half way before it starts the process over again. It’s been an endless loop. Also my ionic is not storing sleep or heart rate data. I have restarted my phone. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Removed my ionic from the app and added it back in. I have restarted my ionic. I have turned Bluetooth off an on. My Fitbit is just not working no matter what I do. No sleep dataNo sleep data

It’s reading my heart rate, but won’t store dataIt’s reading my heart rate, but won’t store data

This is as far as the sync will go before it restarts. This is as far as the sync will go before it restarts.

Hello @Kortneypayge, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I would also like to thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far and for attaching some pictures to your post. The reason the watch is not showing information, it's because it hasn't synced correctly, in which case I would like to suggest you the following:

  • Make sure the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your phone.
  • The software on your mobile device is up to date. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around as they might interfere with the syncing process
  • Check that your Fitbit device's battery isn't critically low.

If your device still won't sync, try these steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app.
  4. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart your phone again.
  5. Open the Fitbit app.
  6. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart it one more time.
  7. If your Fitbit device won't sync after the restart, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
  8. If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your mobile device and try to sync.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

I tried all of the suggestions and it still won’t sync. I’m not sure what more I can do. I feel like I’ve tried everything.

Hello @Kortneypayge, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply. It's nice to see you too @MelanieB., I hope you're doing well. Smiley Happy

@MelanieB., to know if your phone is running the latest version of the app, go to the App Store app, if you're not able to see the Fitbit app under the Updates tab, that means you have the latest version.

@Kortneypayge, I appreciate you have come back and let us know you've already tried the troubleshooting steps provided earlier. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to perform a factory reset on your Ionic. Remember that when performing a factory reset, the information not yet synced will be deleted as well as your settings and apps you've installed. After performing a factory reset you will need to set up the Ionic as a new device as well.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.
