I just purchased a charge 3 today and synced it to my iphone 11 pro. I have completed the set-up process. However, when I go to the fit bit settings, the location is set to "ask". I've attempted to change this to "always" but it is reverting to "ask". Fit Bit does not appear in location services as well. I uninstalled the app and am having the same problem. How do I resolve this?

Hello @Nahlaamo
Try this path:
Let’s start by tapping your exercise tile in the Fitbit app. If you don’t have the exercise tile showing in the main page of the Fitbit app (where all your current challenges are) then tap Discover at the bottom left, then tap Health & Fitness Stats, then find exercise and tap it. Look to the bottom and tap “Add to today”.... that will pop you back to the main page. Now find the exercise tile and tap it. Look to the upper left and tap the stopwatch icon. Now tap “Enable Location Services” , then open settings and make your selection. (If it doesn’t let you select always then select when using the app) .....now go back to the Fitbit app and answer WiFi prompt. Now go directly to your iOS setting and now you can change it to always.

Hello @Mike-P
Have you tried this path? From your Settings > scroll down to the Fitbit app and tap on it > allow Fitbit to access location there. Set your other permissions.
I also dug around a bit and found these two articles you might find interesting:

So I figured it out on my own. Just because we think the setup is complete, it is not. Not I’m not exactly sure how I did this but you need to be prompted in the app to enable location services. I believe I got this to pop up once I was set up and started to look at the workouts in the actual app. At that point, I received the prompt but it doesn’t let you select always. I selected when using the app and then had to go into my iPhone settings to change it from when using app to always. Hope this helps everyone!

I appreciate it, but I have played around with the app and checked out all the things that need my location and it still hasn’t prompted me to ask for location, does anyone know how to get it to ask or any other ways to get fitbit to show under location services?

This worked! Thank you so much.
I still had to go back to choose always but at least it kept my choice.
