Iphone update & problems with charge 2 fitbit

Last week my iphone updated and i had problems syncing my fitbit. Eventually I deleted and reloaded the app losing all my data. I am not getting on well with the new fitbit interface.

1. Cant get a breakdown on active minutes as before ie walk, bike ride, run, length of activity in time and distance and effort.

2 My resting heart rate has risen significantly but that may be because the other data is lost.

3. Why is data lost? Surely my account still exists and is linked to my email etc and if I log on to another piece of kit the data should be there?

Any suggestions/advice?

Hello and welcome @Mazzash 

I understand that you had problems syncing your Fitbit and you tried deleting and reloading the app and in turn lost all your data. Did you use the same email address on your account as you did before reinstalling? I think the safest suggestion I can give you is that you should call Fitbit Customer Service and hopefully they can guide you in ways to regain your data again if it is still obtainable. I wouldn’t like to start suggesting troubleshooting tips and quite possibly make things worse.
