Hi, I have just migrated from a Samsung Galaxy on android to and iPhone 7. I want to use the Fitbit app. Is there any way to use the app with my Gear S2 watch rather than purchasing a Fitbit?
I will almost definitly migrate to a fitbit eventually, but would like to use the app in the meantime if at all possible.

Hello @aosullivan1977, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board!
At this moment it's not possible to link your Gear S2 with the Fitbit app (either iOS or Android). However, as you have an iPhone 7 I would like to suggest setting up MobileTrack as the iPhone 7 is compatible with it. MobileTrack uses the sensors on your phone to count basic functions like steps and calories and I'm sure it will be very helpful for you.
To set up MobileTrack:
- Download the Fitbit app on your phone.
- Open it and tap Join Fitbit, create your account and fill the necessary information.
- If you have an account already, log in with your credentials.
- Tap on the Account Tab > Set up a New Device
- Choose MobileTrack and follow the onscreen instructions.
Please remember that MobileTrack does not track sleep, floors or active minutes.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else!
