The most recent version of the iOS app will randomly send me step notifications. It's 9a and the notification said I'm over 10,000 steps over my 10,000 step goal. I had the same thing happen yesterday - I apparently hit 10,000 while sitting on my couch. When I open it, it returns to normal, but the notification is annoying.

Welcome back to the forums @evrapkoch.
Thank you for sharing the details about this inconvenience with your Fitbit app. Sorry to know about the notification.
Please perform the following steps in order to solve the issue:
I'd recommend to give one try to the following steps in the given order:
- Remove your Fitbit from the Bluetooth settings on your phone. If you sync it with a different phone/tablet, remove it from their Bluetooth settings as well.
- Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
- Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
- Force quit the Fitbit app from your iPhone.
- Reboot your phone and restart your Fitbit.
- Open the Fitbit app and set up the notifications one more time.
