Neither my Fitbit Zip nor the Alta synchs properly with the latest iOS app update. It's not an iOS 10 problem because the phone has iOS 10 on it but the iPAD has the latest iOS 9 on it. Both will sync properly with the correct # of steps using the computer dongle.
The app fails to register the correct # of steps even if repeatedly synched. It always registers 1000 (or more) steps lower than what the ZIP says it has recorded.
App Version is 2.27.1. Please fix this.

Hi there @SunsetRunner, good to see you around in our Community. Certainly this is odd, since is not possible that your tracker shows a different number that it shows your app.
Make sure your tracker is properly syncing and stay live mode data. (You should be able to see a connected signal on top of your tracker on the main Dashboard).
I suggest to try to force quit the app:
1. Log out from the Fitbit app and double tap the home button on your iOS device. Your open apps will show on your device's screen.
2. Close the Fitbit app by swiping the app image in an upward motion.
3. Reopen the Fitbit app and log back in.
Hope this helps and don't forget to let me know how it goes.

Obviously it IS possible otherwise I wouldn't be here asking about it. 😠
Next time I'll take a photo rather than be called a liar.

Hi there @SunsetRunner. It was not my intention that you felt in that way. Of course I believe you, otherwise as you said would not be asking this. My intention was just to make emphasis on the unexpected behavior is presenting your tracker and the app. I offer you an apology for any misunderstanding.
Please try the suggestion I mentioned before and let me know how it goes in case the issue persists. I'm sure we can try something else.
Once again my most sincere apologies as it was not my intention to offended you.
