Log in/out opens another app

Help - every time I try to log in/out of the Fitbit app, it instead opens another app (passive sensing app) on my phone. I had to log in with my Gmail account to bypass this issue to log into Fitbit, but if I'm trying to log out of Fitbit, I need to delete the other app first to log out. I am using Fitbit version 3.90 on iOS 16.6.

I'd suggest performing the steps listed here:

• Log out from the Fitbit app.
• Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
• Open the Settings app and tap General, then select iPhone Storage.
• Wait for the list of all your apps to load. Once the list appears, find the app you want to clear and swipe it to the left.
• Tap Offload App.
• Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
• Check if the issue is solved now.
