Logging meal summaries

I use the iOS app. In the food log it has started to log a "breakfast summary" (or lunch or dinner) in addition to everything I logged. So this doubles the calories recorded. And with the issue of deleted logged foods staying deleted I cannot just clear these extra calories out. Any thing I can do to fix this?

Welcome to our community @Isalu. I think I know what's going on with this issue. This Breakfast summary or Lunch summary, are entries from an external app or service. To give you an example: MyFitnessPal. When you log food on your MyFitnessPal account this are synchronizes with your Fitbit account if both are linked and appear as Summaries on your food log. So if you are using a different service to log food, do not log food on your Fitbit account since this will duplicate your calorie intake.

Keep me posted how it goes, I'll be around. Robot wink

How do I get rid of the calorie summary

Hello @123Shadow, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community. I would like to know more about which calories summaries you are referring?

However there is not option to filter or removed data summaries provided by the Fitbit app, either for the exercise sections or the food entries.

If you are referring to the new Macronutrients feature, this has been requested by a large amount of users. However it cannot be removed or hide from your Dashboard.

Let me know if you have additional questions or if you are referring to a different calorie summary.

So what is the option to fix it if the data is wrong?

Thank you RobertoME. That makes sense and I never even thought of my  Fitness pal entries synching in the Fitbit food log. Thanks a bunch.
