Luxe not receiving notifications with iOS 15

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just updated my iPhone to ios15 and noticed that my Fitbit Luxe treats all focus mode notifications as if I have my phone on do not disturb. If I check my my notifications list on my luxe, they are there but as long as I receive them while any of them my focus modes are on, my Fitbit does not vibrate (I am referring to the notifications that I have set to allow in those focus modes). Anyone else having this problem? Hoping they have an app update coming to address this.

Sorry I don't have a resolution, just an advice.

Try not to jump on IOS updates as soon as they are out, especially the major ones, you will avoid some issues.
Also hackers love IOS 15 since they use Apple Siri and VoiceOver services to access the Notes app from behind the screen lock. It's still not fixed.

Thanks for the input @TryDebian. Welcome to the Community Forums @dswagp

Thank you for sharing the details regarding the inconvenience you've been experiencing with your notifications. Just to confirm, are you referring to the calls, messages and app notifications that you are able to receive on your Fitbit Lux? If that is not the case, do you mind to confirm the exact notifications that do you want to receive?

In the meantime, I suggest checking the following setting. Swipe down from the top of the screen to access quick settings and the Settings app  > scroll to Quiet modes > make sure that Focus mode is toggled to Off.  Focus mode mutes calls and notifications when using the exercise app.

Also, please make sure that your Lux hasn't gone into Sleep or DND mode. When any of these settings are enabled:

  • Notifications don't cause the tracker to vibrate or the screen to turn on.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • Turning your wrist won't cause the tracker’s screen to turn on.

See you around.

I have checked everything including above suggestions and do not receive notifications. When I purchased my Fitbit a few months back, I used to get all notifications. Not sure the phone notifications stopped . Then,  I used to receive notifications from only Fitbit, now, nothing.

Welcome! It's great to see you around @FZamora.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for the troubleshooting tried prior posting. If you already checked the settings on your Fitbit devices as described here, but it is still not getting your notifications, I'd suggest trying the following:

1. Open the Fitbit app ► Tap the profile Icon (at the top left)
2. Tap Lux and then tap Notifications
3. Turn off all your notifications
4. Force quit the Fitbit app
5. Restart your Fitbit device. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
6. Go to settings, find Bluetooth and turn it off about 10 seconds and then turn it back on
7. Tap the blue i next to your Fitbit Lux and make sure that Share System notifications option is ON
8. Go to the Fitbit app and turn on the notifications, sync the tracker and see if it is able to work. For more information you can see, How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.
