MFP ERROR

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When I run, treadmill specifically, my active minutes show up in Fitbit, but when I put my run into map my run (which is linked and in order for it to show up in MFP) it then goes into my active minutes in Fitbit for a second time. So my workout is being counted twice, obviously making it so my numbers are not accurate for the day.

The only way this seemed to be prevented was if I unlinked MFP from my Fitbit account, but THEN I am missing out on the ability to know how my calories are looking for the day... please can anyone help with this?

Hello @Merlinise, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

In this case, in order to prevent the active minutes and activities from duplicating I would like to suggest unlinking your MFP and MapMyRun accounts and link them individually with the Fitbit app. This is the best way to have the apps linked without inconveniences.

In order to link MapMyRun with Fitbit:

  1. Log into MapMyRun.
  2. Click the Improve tab and then select Device Connect.
  3. Find Fitbit on the list and click the Connect button. You're taken to fitbit.com.
  4. Log in with your Fitbit credentials.
  5. Go back to MapMyRun and go to your workout dashboard.
  6. Click the Import Workouts button
  7. Next to Fitbit click the Sync button. One month of your step history will be imported.

And to link MyFitnessPal with Fitbit:

  1. Log into MyFitnessPal and click Apps.
  2. In the App Gallery, find Fitbit and click Connect.
  3. Click Allow to give MyFitnessPal access to your Fitbit data.
  4. Follow the instructions provided.

I hope this information can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
