Mac, I Pad and MacBook Pro all not able to find Charge 2

I got my Charge 2 today. Started on Mac computer. Installed software. Fitbit Connect can not find my Charge 2. My Charge 2 turns on, referring me to setup website. It is close to the computer, Bluetooth is on and I turned off Bluetooth on all other devices in the house. I also did the IOS troubleshooting steps recommended online. restarted Charge 2. I was able to set up my account online and confirmed via email. I tried next on my Ipad. Downloaded the app. It just keeps spinning when I try to log in or try to join. I deleted app again and reinstalled. Restarted the Ipad. Did not work. I also tried to set it up on the MacBook Pro. None of those 3 devices can find my new Charge 2. I really want to use it. Please help.

Hello @Koehni, thanks for joining us, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Community. Smiley Happy

When trying to set up your Charge 2 in your Mac and Macbook Pro, are you getting an error message? In order to set up your tracker with a computer you will need a USB dongle which is not currently included on the Charge 2 package. However, if you'd like to use your iPad, please restart it and reinstall the app again them try to log in. Let me know if you get an error message when trying to log in.

If you're able to do enter the Fitbit app, please:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue

Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around and that your tracker is fully charged before setting it up.

If your tracker is still unable to set up and you don't have a USB dongle, my best recommendation would be contacting our Support Team.  Let them know about this situation, I'm sure they will be happy to assist you further.

I hope this can be helpful, keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
