I rely on a FitBit Inspire 3 and I use the FitBit App, latest version 4.53, on an iPhone Air running IOS 26.0.1. When I opened the Fitbit App in this recently-purchased iPhone, I found that the manual Water Log, which I customarily have used numerous times a day to track my hydration, has become a useless blue screen that doesn't show my actual entries. I only see a running total when I switch out of the log and back to the tile. Today I mistakenly entered several incorrect amounts because the log doesn't show what is being entered as I type it in. There are no longer three dots for editing or deleting entries, so I am stuck with an erroneous log. This is a ridiculous modification to what was a completely functional, simple method of tracking throughout the day. If there is a way to review and correct specific manual data entries, please advise.

I am replying to my own post from yesterday 10/21/25. Today I opened the FitBit App water log and, lo and behold, the old Water Log format has been restored. Once again I can see all of my entries as I add them to the day's list, delete erroroneous entries, and also see the running total on the same page as the entries. I was even able to go back a day and delete the erroneous entries that the "blue screen" version of the log would not allow me even to see as I entered them, let alone delete at will. I'm not taking credit for waking up Google to this problem and the ways their notion of making things better is completely unrelated to how long-time users of FitBit and people who are trying to improve their health "the old-fashioned way" with exercise and dietary changes actually use the App's nutrition and hydration logs to track intake throughout the day and rely on them to adjust their behaviors and choices. I know others have complained about the Water Log being made useless, so this reversal of a stupid change is likely to be broadly welcomed in the FitBit Communkity and, for me, happens to be perfectly timed. I hope it's not a fluke. If it is, I will be back.
