My Fitbit experience and integration with Apple Health

I have had Fitbit at this point for over two years and liked it so much I got the versa a little over a year ago. Fast forward to about 3 months ago to the versa update and my watches stopped working. I called and all they offered was 20% off and I had spend well over $400 because I bought my husband and my father n law a fitbit. My father n law the ionic. Well o well fitbit has not appreciated my patronage and could have just fixed the problem they caused. I vowed to move on and I have to Apple Watch very happily and I moved my husband and will moved all of my other family members surely. See the thing about mistreating a customer is that they have family. Also I can’t believe that the problem wasn’t fixed considering it was Fitbit’s update that caused the problem. Apple Watch works great and you can even get one as the price of the Versa. Now fitbit and Apple Watch don’t sync bcs fitbit is trying to hold out on any little thing it can. There are third party apps but it seems that your steps still will not transfer from the health app to fitbit: if anyone knows apps that do let me know bcs I still do challenges on fitbit. Other than that fitbit has no use for me. I would say fitbit up their product or just let people sync between health and fitbit and fitbit can make money off premium user etc. The last resort/failed effort to hold on to users because data doesn’t transfer worked for a little bit with me but in the end a better more well made device is most important to me. I wish this relationship would have worked fitbit but greed got the best of you. Peace out..

Hi @Gina2018, it's nice to see you again in our Community Forums.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your experience and feedback. Our team is always working on our products and services, and your comments are always welcome. I am sure our Support team tried their best to help you, each case is reviewed individually and a solution that's being provided is based on the Fitbit Warranty. I apologize for any disappointment and appreciate your understanding.

Currently the Fitbit app isn't able to sync with Apple Health, meaning that the information tracked on Apple Health won't be able to be transferred to Fitbit. To share additional feedback or if you want the features to be improved, feel free to visit our Feature suggestion board. Here our product development teams consult regularly to ensure we're delivering on what our customers need and want. You can show your support to this suggestion by adding your vote. Fitbit’s devices are junk. Have heard this from a number of people and have experienced this myself. Their update resulted in my watch and many others to have issues and they offer no fair solution considering it was their tech. Also when you have written that you have worked at the problem and know the solution they offer a generic solution. 1) I know your warranty is one year. But it’s pretty sad that your device only last that long. Plus if it is because of a bad update than fitbit should fix not me. 2) I know health (because I too went to Apple happily) does not connect to fitbit. Fitbit mentioned in a forum they like to hear feedback on how to improve their products. Wrong because many people since I’ve seen around 2014 have requested that their steps be synced. Fitbit has done nothing but made it impossible to do showing they have no interest in doing this. 3) please don’t send me another generic answer. Keep it. I already know you don’t value your customers. My husband and I have moved on to a better device.
