My first day of exercise keeps disappearing from the app and then reappearing.

I have exercised every day this week starting with Sunday. For some reason, my Sunday workout keeps disappearing and then reappearing. This has been going on for multiple days. The exercise shows on the monthly summary. And when I hit the prior week arrow to see the prior page and then return to the exercises, it will show the exercise there sometimes.

I just decided to test it again. After working OK all week, now it is not working again. It deleted my Sunday workout again. But not as soon as I did today’s work out. I used the back arrows to see the weeks before. They were still missing days. Then when I got to this week by going forward with the arrows, Sunday was missing for this week.  So I closed and opened the app again,  but Sunday is still missing.

Tonight, when I open the app it shows seven days, but about two seconds later it changes to just six days without Sunday.

It does the same thing on the other weeks also. There is a few seconds delay between it showing the correct information and then flipping to the incorrect information.

it all changes randomly even while looking at it

I have the same issue, not always Sunday though.  It will randomly drop a day or two as I try to look back through weekly data.  Just another 'improvement' to the app I guess.

@mhouse Mine also started to do a different day. It actually added Monday. So Sunday and Monday both were gone. And sometimes it would repair itself, and sometimes it would go back to being wrong.

How do we get someone to recognize that this is a problem? I don’t see any input from any official people here.

I reported the problem, but there has been absolutely no response.
Maybe my comment needs to have votes in order for them to respond.

Here is the title under product feedback: Exercise days disappearing.

I tried to put the link here, but it won’t let me put the link.

This week everything was looking fine until Saturday when Sunday disappeared.

But if I use the back arrows on the “Week” setting and then return to the current week, then it would show seven days.

I have had problems with Fitbit exercise day information and active zone minutes for almost a year now. My problem started with the introduction of Fitbit version 4.0. I have contacted Google this customer service and customer service supervisors. I have contacted Google disability support to help me, navigate this problem and get it resolved. I’ll take the information but there is never a response or request for more information that might help them to resolve this ongoing problem. Today, my exercise sessions and exercise day total changed multiple times and the same thing happened yesterday and the day before.  The information is not reliable. I am using Fitbit version 4.22 and iOS version 17.5.1. I am a blind user using Apple‘s voiceover screen reading software to read information on the Fitbit screens. I have dictated this on my iPhone and hope you will be able to understand my ramblings. I certainly understand your frustration because every time I exceeded 20 exercise days , everything starts to go crazy and from that point on the information is no longer reliable or helpful.

@Podunk I reported the problem as Fitbit possibly not complying with the ADA's Reasonable Accommodations for the disabled.

Here is the link to that post: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Product-Feedback/Reasonable-Accommodation-for-Disabled-Users-for-Ame...

If you vote on that post, maybe we will start to get some help for this problem.

I have the same issue.  Is this being looked at?

I have reported this problem to Fitbit customer care, Fitbit, customer care, supervisors, and Google disability support team members. I have posted my experience within the forum and as of yet nothing positive has happened. Today I completed seven days of exercise for this week and my total on the home screen and after tapping on the exercise tile is three exercise days and 20 exercise sessions for this week. The correlation between active zone minutes and exercise days continues to be problematic. In September my issues with exercise days and active zone minutes will have been , documented for one year. So yes, it has been documented. Yes, it has been reported and no nothing has been done to better the user experience. I am a blind user dictating this on my iPhone and hope you will be able to understand my ramblings.

I see so many quirks going on with Fitbit. I have resolved to the fact that they are not likely going to fix many of its problems. This week I used this bug to try exercising fewer times but for longer durations, This should not be necessary, especially for those recovering or disabled. But I am not holding my breath in the hope that Fitbit will ever fix this problem. If you notice, they have not even replied to this issue. I think we are just wasting our time because they obviously do not care that the problem exists.

I didn’t think it was possible, but this actually got worse after the last update. I’m now missing weeks instead of just days. I had something logged every day last month and only 6 days show up.  It’s missing in the weekly view too.  I uninstalled the app, deleted the data and reinstalled- still the same missing data.  The workout I manually entered for 9/1 keeps disappearing, too.IMG_0348.png

The developers have created this problem and have been unable to create a fix. I do not believe that users of the Fitbit trackers have the ability to correct the problem. Based on past issues, retroactive fix is highly unlikely. We are limited to 20 exercise per week and an incorrect number of exercise days if 20 exercise sessions have been exceeded and then all sessions for exercise on a day
Have been deleted. Last week it showed I had completed two exercise days when the actual total was seven when I looked at the total on Sunday for last week it said I had completed three exercise days. It is rare to find that I have the correct number of exercise days When looking at historical information. I have dictated this on my iPhone and hope you will be able to understand my ramblings. I am a blind user using an SE third generation running 17.6.1 and version 4.24. In the past, I have contacted , Fitbit Customer Service, Fitbit, customer care, supervisors, and google disability support. Google disability support has been apathetic and forwarded my concerns to Fitbit developers and Fitbit developers have never responded within a timely manner and I have asked Google disability support to close those tickets. If developers can’t get back to users with accessibility problems within a timely manner, I feel for those who Are without physical and visual challenges.

I have the same happen. I have been having many walking sessions everyday for the last 2 weeks and some workout days disappear the end of the week. Like it’s to much data overload. Frustrating. It hops from 6 of six days, to 7 of six and then 5 of six. It seems to try to register the data but doesn’t have enough capacity. Hope it can get fixed soon.

@mhouse @LizzyFitbit @Podunk  yes, things are severely worse after the update. I have crazy data today! It is only the fourth day of the week. This morning, it says that I only exercised 2 of 3 days. The reality is I exercised one time each of three days, so three exercises in a week should not be enough to cause this problem if it is based on 20+ exercises a week. The Fitbit device shows the correct data, but not the app. However, the monthly view of the app shows three exercise days, yet it only says there are two “times” that I exercised!???? Two times on three days??? The monthly view correctly shows that there were two types of exercises. There were two walks and one gardening. Thankfully I logged yesterday‘s gardening on my paper copy because it is not showing up today, less than 24 hours later! @LizzyFitbit Something is severely wrong! Below are pics about what I have posted.IMG_2069.pngIMG_2070.pngIMG_2071.jpegIMG_2072.jpegIMG_2074.jpegIMG_2075.jpegIMG_2076.jpeg

@LizzyFitbit tonight it was working normal, and the errors from this morning were gone.

Does this mean that they fixed the problem?

@LizzyFitbit @Ddonna  It worked for me last night after I updated the app (4.25), but today most of my data is missing again.  Only the first days of any month are showing, only a few days of those weeks, and only one of multiple activities for those days.  I also tried to edit an activity from this morning - changed the start time (still correct if I go back to edit) which updated the HRZ graph times but the duration and other activity data did not change to reflect the new start time.

@mhouse @LizzyFitbit  Same for me: Last night it worked. But today it is missing data. I exercised 4 times yesterday, but it only shows one exercise. And it removed my walk on the day before (Tuesday). So it says that I only exercised 3 times on 3 days instead of 7 times on 4 days.
