My fitbit Charge restart and still won't sync

Whenever I open my app on my iPhone 6+, the syncing process never finishes so I found how to restart by holding the button for 15 seconds but I'm still having the same issue.  It went dead around Christmas and now about 2 weeks later I charged it but the date and time are off.  I also reset the time zone and saved that.  I am now in the process of redownloading the app.  If this doesn't work, do you have a suggestion to make the fitbit work?  As is, it's useless to me!

Having tried restarting your tracker I would like to suggest setting up your tracker as a new device to restart the connection between your devices. Don't worry, this won't delete any information stored in your account so far.

To set up your tracker as a new device:

  1. Restart your tracker once again and leave it plugged in and charging.
  2. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  3. Restart your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  5. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  6. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

Please remember only to replace the tracker, do not remove it from the account first. Give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

It took me several tries, and I don't know if I did anything differently but this time it worked!  Thanks so much!  For anyone else, just keep trying. Mine is a Charge and an iPhone 6 plus.
