Hi : I understand that the new community features are currently available in the United States only, but Im confused as to why both myself and my friend are in Canada, both have Canada listed as their locale, and yet my friend has the new features and I don't? I'd understand if we both didn't have it, but as it is I'm confused.

The new Fitbit updates have added a Community tab for anyone to share their daily progress, success stories, workouts, and more, with a community who are interested in hearing and sharing their own stories.
If you're unable to access the Community tab, but a friend is, make sure your app and device are running the newest version (Fitbit for iOS is v2.37, other versions I'm unsure about). You can do this typically by accessing your device's app store and checking for updates (if it hasn't done so automatically). Otherwise, I'm unsure. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
