New Surge app is crashing Iphone 6 10.3.2

Just got a brand new Surge... the app keeps freezing my iphone. 6   ios 10.3.2.. must hard restart and the power indicator shows 100% all the time? help please

When does the app start to freeze? When just opening, when trying to login,..?

its not the app its the phone! it is random... I have deleted and reinstalled same situation and the battery indicator on the phone stays at 100%... Fitbit is the only thing i have added / changed thx. cww//
