New dashboard on app displaying information incorrectly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
This morning the app started showing the latest days data on all previous days on the dashboard, for the below the line tiles. So the main readings steps, calories, distance and active time are displayed correctly. But all the others show the same information for everyday, that being the latest day's information. However if you tap on the tile the correct historical information is displayed on the next screen.

I am using an iPad, I have tried logging in and out, force closing the iPad, toggling the new dashboard switch. But to no avail.

Help please.

Hi, @Stevela, that is how the new dashboard is currently designed.  You are doing nothing wrong, and there are no steps you can take to change it.  For that reason I myself currently use the old version of the dashboard.

As you note, you can get the information you need by clicking on the individual tiles.  It does take an extra step, but it is all there.

The new dashboard design highlights your daily progress in a new daily stats tile. You’ll see your activity stats, such as floors, miles, calories, and active minutes in a new tile. You can tap each stat to see more detail and your history. Additionally, the other tiles have a new look and contain more detailed information if you tap each tile.

At the top of the dashboard, you'll see an image of your tracker along with a battery indicator letting you know how full your battery is. You'll also see a radio icon. When the icon is green, your tracker is connected to your mobile device or computer with Bluetooth and ready to sync. When then icon is grey, your tracker is trying to connect to Bluetooth or is disconnected; when your tracker is disconnected from your mobile device or computer, you can't sync your tracker.

You can turn on or off the new dashboard design.

  1. On the dashboard, open the Account tab.
  2. Tap Advanced Settings.
  3. Turn on or turn off Preview New Dashboard.

As my friend says @Julia_G, you can continue using the existing dashboard design for the time being. Over the next few months, the old design will no longer be available and the new design will become permanent.

Happy stepping guys!

Maria--

Could you or someone else at FitBit comment as to why the old dashboard won't be available in the future?  From the number of posts I've seen here, it seems apparant that many users (myself included) prefer the old dashboard.

It's very frustrating to see posts from FitBit employees stating that the old dashboard will be going away with no explanation as to why.  If there is a valid reason for removing the option, knowing it would help to alleviate the frustration of users.  I might not like the fact that I won't be able to use the old dashboard, but having a valid reason for it's removal would at least help me understand why FitBit seems to be turning a deaf ear to their customers/users.
