I have bought and then returned two different Garmin watches. I am sticking with Fitbit for now. I was delighted to see a firmware update tis week! BUT it STILL did not get rid of the extremely annoying question about Bluetooth Location Sharing EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. that I sync. My Versa 2 is about 1.5 years old and it does most things well. The bad stuff all showed up after the awful September update. I think this new firmware update may actually have fixed the zone minute issue, but surely there is some way to make my device STOP asking the same question about Bluetooth over and over again.

Try going under your exercise settings and turn gps off. It would be your tracker that is asking for location services.
In any case I'll move your iOS question to the iOS board.

If you are asking about location services, this is because of changes made in Android version 6. You haven't mentioned what phone you are asking about.
If you are saying that the app is requesting permission to access your phones Bluetooth. This makes sense, the app syncs your tracker through the phones Bluetooth.

I have an iPhone. My Versa 2 syncs just fine. The annoying message is about GPS tracking using Bluetooth. I have no interest in this. I am forced to say no thanks each and every time I sync. This just started in September. I'd had the Versa 2 about a year by then with no problems. I am not the only person who has complained about this, so I am disappointed that it did not get fixed in this firmware update.

You were right in that I do need Bluetooth for sync. I did exactly as you said and looked in Settings on my iPhone 7. There is a Location setting, but nothing that mentions GPS.Then, I looked at my Versa 2 Settings. Again, there is no GPS setting there. Location is set to Never, but it has been set that way for a year and a half. The annoying popup that won't go away oly started in September. I would turn off GPS is I only could see it anywhere.

Rich, I made an error is stating our answer was the best. It is the best so far, but the annoying popup is still there every time. My Versa 2 does not have built in GPS. I do not carry my phone when I walk. That is why it make no sense for the to allow location. I hope you can make this annoying popup go away forever.
