New iPhone6. Charge will not pair.

Hi. I had an iPhone 5 synched with my Fitbit Charge. I got a new iPhone 6S and the app transferred over with all my past history however Bluetooth will not pair the new phone with the Charge. Do I need to delete the app and reinstall? If so will I lose my past data? Appreciate any support and ideas you can provide...thanks!

Hi @Cruisinskier it is nice to see new members around!

So you downloaded the Fitbit app to your new iPhone 6 however it is not possible to complete the set up process of your Charge and your new phone, right?

If so, let's go ahead and try some steps to fix this. First of all, let's try to restart your Charge by following the instructions on @AlejandraFitbit post. Then please make sure to follow these steps to set it up your tracker, and I'm pretty sure you don't need to uninstall the app from your iPhone.

Let me know if that works! Smiley Wink

Hi. To confirm I did not download the app to the new phone, it moved over in my Apple profile as I moved it between phones. I can see my past data but nothing since the new phone. Bluetooth will recognize other devices but not the Fitbit. Will try your suggestions tonight and advise of the outcome. Thanks!!

Hi folks. I restarted the Fitbit and it is now paired on my new phone. Thanks for that!! I do have one remaining question....only today's steps show. All of the data I had synched on my old phone also shows however the past 4 days while I was having this issue and the phone was not paired all show as zero steps. While this is not a major issue, I am missing steps. Anything I can do to recover those 4 days or are they gone? Thanks agiain for all your assistance!!!

Hey @Cruisinskier! hmmm ok this is weird. If you synced before you set it up your Fitbit with your new iPhone, then the data should appear on your account. So, could you please try to sync with a computer? just to see if the issue is with the tracker or with the Fitbit app itself. If on your PC Dashboard, your data appear, then go back to your iPhone and try to log out from your account, then log back in and try to force sync.

Let me know how it goes!
