No new notifications are being added in the app

It just came to my attention that my fitbit app no longer adds notifications to the “inbox”, the last notifications are dated from june.

I checked my wife’s app and she has the same issue, her last notification is also dated from june.

We both have the latest version of iOS on a iPhone 11.

No red dot, all notifications are marked as read, only notifications of joining a group are recently added.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for providing a screenshot. I understand your concern and would like to confirm that it is expected behavior and the change is based on customers' feedback. The push notifications will continue and if needed, you can turn on push notifications by doing the following:

 

  1. In app, tap Account icon and then Notifications.
  2. Confirm toggle is on. 
  3. Confirm push notifications are on in phone settings for the Fitbit app.
