Not receiving text notifications on Charge 2.

Have a Charge 2, running on Apple iPhone 6s.  My charge 2 sends call, meeting and encouragement notifications, but it does not send text notifications.  So I swapped mine with my wife's, which worked for her, and I am still having the same issue.

Has anyone else had this same problem. My settings are correct and I have spent about an hour with Fitbit support and have uninstalled, reinstalled and restarted.

The confusing part is that I am able to get messages, but not SMS.

Thank you.

Cycle thru your Fitbit screens on the Device by pressing button on the left side and make sure Notifications say "on"

@Sonia_20, would it be possible for you to reply to me with a screenshot of the message you're receiving as well as a screenshot of your device settings in the app? That will be very helpful for me to check this further.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting for your reply. Smiley Wink

Hello @mribando, thanks for taking the time to reply, I hope you're having a great day. Smiley Happy

I'm glad to hear your Fitbit One is now syncing. Please remember to make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the syncing process and also that your phone has a strong Wi-Fi signal (or enough data).

In case you have some spare time, I would like to invite you to visit our Discussions board where you will find great tips and encouragement from other members and if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted.

Marco, It's actually doing what it was doing again. It syncs randomly and I cannot figure out what is different when it works. As I'm sure you know the iphone 7 was designed to work with a BT headset, so not using BT is not a viable solution. It does work consistently with my ipad. Very frustrating.

I'm having the same issue and it too started after an IOS update. All my setting are correct and the notifications are set to ON. I have even reinstalled the app. The only other thing I can try is to let my Charge 2 run out of juice and die for a bit..

Has anyone else who has had this same issue been able to solve the problem? I only use my fitbit now for notifications from my ailing mother when I can't have a phone near me.

Thanks!!

I am also having issues with not receiving text notifications on my Charge 2 from my iPhone 6+. I've checked all settings and still not working. Could this have anything to do with the iOS update recently?

Hi - My fitbit is not receiving text notifications, however call and meeting notices are coming through.  (iPhone 7; iOS 11.4).

I have reviewed the steps in this thread and performed the following -

>> reviewed my notification settings on the phone and the FitBit

>> reinstalled the app and disconnected my FitBit from my phone

>> restarted both devices

Any suggestions on next steps?
