HI

My Iphone asid to update my Fitbit app so I did. Now I cannot see how many steps I'm doing in my app's dashboard. I have tried the following:

1.  Deleting and re-loading the app (a few times)

2. Syncing the phone w/ the computer

3. Rebooting the phone (a few times)

4. Going thru all the options available in the app itself - steps is NOT an option

I don't know what else to do

Hi there @ecurran168. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂

Normally, the fact that you don't see steps, distance, stairs and this type of stats means that your tracker is not paired to your account. This can be caused by logging out of the app and creating a different account or a typo in your email address.

I'd recommend logging out of your account by going to the bottom right corner, tapping on "Account" and then scroll down to the bottom and hit "Log out of app". Try to log back in (do not choose the option that says "New to Fitbit") and make sure you're using your correct email address and password.

If after logging back to your account, it still doesn't show your steps and other stats, I'd recommend setting up your tracker as a new device by following these instructions.

Hope this helps to get you back on track and if you still need more help, don't hesitate to let me know! 🙂

Thank you so much but nothing worked! I get to the 'next' step where I have
to hit the button on my One and it does not find it. I then tried to the
computer version and I plug in the Dongle and I get an error message. I'm
more than a bit frustrated as this has been on going for over 2 weeks

Oh, I see @ecurran168. It seems it's more something about the tracker than about the app or the software on the computer.

I'd recommend restarting your tracker two or three times by following these instructions (click here). Once you've restarted your trakcer, follow the previous instructions for setting up your tracker as a new device and hopefully this will get you back on track.

Let me know how it goes or if you need more help with this! 🙂
