One will not sync, shows battery empty

Recently my Fitbit One stopped syncing with the iOS app. I let the battery run down completely but after I charged it the app still shows "Battery empty" and will not sync my steps for the week. I'm on the current versions of iOS 10 and the Fitbit app, have tried logging out and back in again. Should I delete the One and add it again?

I don't know - but I'm having the exact same issue. Started this week. I have let the battery die before but never had a problem. This time, though, it just won't sync. Like it doesn't  recognize it at all.

I found this from another post on a similar issue. Maybe it will help (it didn't work for me)

Try restarting your tracker.

Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone, check if Charge HR is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
Restart your phone.
Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone for 15 seconds, then turn it back on.
Open the app and check if your tracker starts syncing. If it's not, please try to add it as a new device:
Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
