Hi I see there are lots of questions as to why Pilates doesn’t count to active minutes going back several years... but no fix yet. I do 5 fifty minute classes a week and they are very strenuous.... can someone fix this please? Jane

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Leogirl188.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern about why Pilates doesn’t count to active minutes. Thank you for providing the additional details and I am here to help. I would like to advise that because our devices primarily track movement through the use of an accelerometer, they more accurately detect active minutes for step-based activities (brisk walking, running) than non-step based activities or activities that require more than steps (yoga, tennis). Devices with a heart rate monitor detect active minutes most accurately, since heart rate data allows us to better estimate caloric burn and, in turn, exercise intensity. For more information about active minutes, see How do I earn active minutes?
If you're unhappy with your active minutes total, you can log the activity manually as described in How do I manually log exercises in the Fitbit app? If you change the calories burned number to reflect that the activity was more intense, you will see the active minutes for this activity.
If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
