Problems downloading the Fitbit app for Russia

Hi, being on a vacation I bought fitbit alta HR and tried to follow the steps that was listed in the bulletin to setup the fitbit. One of the first steps is - to download the application. I checked the website that was mentioned there and clicked the link - to AppStore. But it said that the content is currently unavailable in my country (Russia). Changing the store to a different one (US) doesn’t help either, because I can the see the app in the US store but couldn’t download it. Does this mean that I couldn’t use your braslet having Russian Apple ID?

I am a loyal Fitbit customer for few years. Yearlier I didn't experience any troubles with Fitbit App dowload.

Now I changes my device and I cannot download the App. more than 1 month passed from the moment of your last comment. Did you fix the problem?

Maybe there is a similar solution for Android? I'm also in Russia, and I can't set up my new Charge 4 because there is no Fitbit app in russian Google Play.

i found here https://4pda.to/forum/index.php?showtopic=728179 a working link for google play, despite the fact that fitbit doesn't show in my russian google play search. fitibit installed just fine (no country change required) and seems to be working???? idk but it doesn't hurt to try

syncing is being a Major Pain but so it was on my old phone. it started after a particular update and never came back to normal.
