Problems syncing since having an iPhone 8

I got an iPhone 8 on Monday. Ios 11.0.2 came out on Wednesday. Fitbit software updated same day. Since then I get data only about my steps, nothing about my activity, heartrate, sleep, movement.  A restart has not resolved the problem. Very fed up

I also purchased an iPhone 8 (yesterday), with 11.0.2 and am unable to pair my Alta with the new phone. I've uninstalled the app, turned off/on bluetooth, rebooted my Alta and still no joy.

I ended up having to restart my Fitbit several times; and then completely turn off my iPhone. That then decided to sync.
I also had problems with my ipad post IOS 11.0.2. There I had to de install the Fitbit and start again. That worked.
Any help?
