Questions about Charge 2 and notifications on iOS

Can someone clear up for me a question I have about notifications (for text, calls, calendar) on Fitbit Charge 2 from my ios phone?

On my old Fitbat Charge HR, when someone phoned me, their name automatically scrolled across the screen on my fitibit device. With the newer Charge 2 however it seems that the only automatic notification is a vibration of the device and then the user is required to push the button on the side of the fitbit to actually see the notification.

Am I missing something or is this correct, that with the newer Charge 2 notifications don't appear on the screen of the fitbit automatically, but that the user has to press the button on the device to see what the message or caller is? (Seems like a bit of a backwards step from a feature that worked on the older model!)

Hello @dwireland, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community, it's great to see new people around! Smiley Happy

Same as the Charge HR, when you receive a call notification, you will be able to see the name of the person calling you as long as their number is registered in your phone. Now, in order to see the notification, once you feel the vibration in the tracker you can either tap the button or the screen of the Charge 2. However, my recommendation would be enabling Quick View in your tracker, that way when you feel the vibration you just need to check your tracker as you were checking a watch, the screen automatically turn on due to Quick View and you will be able to see the Notification.

To enable Quick View tap on Account > Charge 2 and tap on Quick View to enable it. Then sync your tracker and you'll be ready to go.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
