Well I’ve logged in in Fitbit apps and tried to set up the device. But when i clicked the ‘set up’ button, it said that ‘the operation couldn’t be completed. (com.fitbit.HTTP error 403.)’ I tried to reinstall it twice but same thing happened. Anyway I’m using iphone 6s with iOS12.
What do i do☹️

I also cannot add a device anymore, just today (26 September). Previously everything was working fine with my Huawei P20 Pro (Android 8.1.0), except for sometimes it's pretty difficult to sync data with my Blaze. Today though it's just impossible. It always tells me fitbit.com is down for maintenance. It hasn't even showed me a list of Fitbit devices I can pair with my phone and it already says the thing is down for maintenance. It's been like 9+ hours and still like this.

Try uninstalling the app, then reinstall and log back in and try setting up again. That fixed it when mine was saying something similar.

I got a reply from the tech support and they confirm that this case is related to system bug. They are still monitoring the situation and unfortunately there is not immediate solution available.

I would wait a few minutes and try to connect to the fitbit.com/setup servers. Down time does happen.
Remember, as well, if you already have the fitbit app on your mobile (should be version 2.79 for iOS12) you can touch the grey'd index card icon in the upper right and then the + set up a device. Choose Charge 2 from the list and follow the dialog. Congrats on the new tracker Jay, glad you found us.
