Removing a fitbit

My boyfriend has just got a new Fitbit, so gave me his old one. However when I am near his phone I get notifications on my Fitbit of his messages. And I struggle to connect to my app when his phone is near. He has removed this Fitbit from the app on his phone, and it is added onto the app on my phone, so I should no longer be getting any notifications.

 

How do I stop my Fitbit from getting his notifications?

Welcome to the forums, @KM321! I ran into the same problem when I gave my daughter one of my Fitbits. If we were together, she and I both got my notifications. The solution is quite easy, since the problem lies in the Bluetooth settings. Have your boyfriend go into the Bluetooth settings for his smartphone. He will probably see his old (your new) device. He should give the command to Forget it. That should do it. If not, let us know.
