Since updating my iPhone to IOS13, my Alta keeps getting the same notification for a calendar event over and over again - several times an hour. I have deleted and reinstalled the Fitbit app. I did a factory reset of my Alta. I cleared it from my app and re-configured it there. Any ideas on why this keeps happening?

Fitbit is aware of an interruption to notifications after updating to iOS 13, and has provided troubleshooting steps on the forum. Read More

Thank you for the response. I had tried all that beforehand. The problem is not that I don’t get notifications, it’s that I get the same notification many times even after the event has passed.

I have the same issue. I wear my Alta to sleep and it wakes me up. Right now, as I'm trying to get to sleep, the same calendar notification has come in about 20 times less than 10 seconds apart. It is maddening! I'm *this* close to abandoning the Fitbit entirely. If Fitbit has been wary of this for months, how is there not a fix yet??

Hello @DS321 , @SunsetRunner and @Sneyland
As @Odyssey13 has already stated that notifications are a known issue that the Fitbit Team are indeed working on. As far as your calendar notifications repeating you can turn off your calendar notifications. Do understand this is not a fix but just a temporary solution to help quite the noise of the repeating notifications and can be turned back on once the notifications issue has been fully addressed and resolved. You can find out how to temporarily disable the calendar events here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Multiple-calendar-notifications/m-p/3899049#M123298

Are we any closer to a solution yet? It's been months...

It has now been over five months with repeating notifications. What time frame do you have to fix calendar notifications? It is a key feature. I need to know of upcoming appointments.

I haven't seen a teal sticky thread for this on the forum. Does fitbit only address the issues flagged at the top or do all issues get addressed?

I just got ticked off and ditched that FitBit. Honestly, my wrist would buzz every 5 seconds once the FitBit got into a trance. It was no longer a useable device for me and I am disappointed that FitBit did not fix this issue after so many months of so many people complaining about it. Not only did the constant reminders irritate me, it drained by battery to the point of needing daily charging adding further to the decline in usability of this device. If it's charging at night, it's not monitoring my sleep and if it's charing while I'm out and about, it's not monitoring my activity. Not cool FitBit...I would have liked to stick with the alta.
